I have this phone for five months. I bought it for $170. I needed to root the phone to be able to transfer apps from internal storage to SD card which voids the guarantee, yet I still cannot update android apps (such as Google Map) because of the limited internal storage. If you are on a budget and you want to have a smartphone to do the essential work, buy this phone. There are good apps in Google Play, like skyvi, which makes this phone fun to work as well. Before this phone I just had a plain flip phone. I wanted to upgrade but I didn't want to break the bank and get a contract with any company so I went for The THL. I have had this phone for about a year now and it has simply been amazing. The phone is by no means as powerful as all these new high end phones, however browsing the web, texting, checking email, listening to music is just as easy to use like phones that costs 3 times as much on a carrier that cost about half as other plans. i chose this product because it was a GREAT deal. fast. great camera. all the features work great. i only had a slight problem with the touch screen while the phone was plugged in and charging.
i am in love with this phone! have not put it down since i bought it.
my only complaint is the ring tones and alerts are not loud enough. and the vibration is not strong enough. if the phone's in my pocket I don't feel it or hear it. (Posted on 1/10/13)
