This phone is awesome. The screen is incredible, very fast and the camera is great... it even has a burst mode and has an option to keep the best shot. I have four little ones so I tend to take more pictures with my phone than the nice Nikon I have. I was torn because the battery seems undersized but it has gotten good reviews. I am feeling excited about this phone which is how you should feel with such great technology out there. (Posted on 3/18/13)

This phone arrived promptly and is unlocked and working great. I am in the Middle east and used a local sim card and voila! No problems thus far. I am still learning the nuts and bolts of the phone but am very pleased with it. The touch screen is a bit tricky to text so I may get a stylus as I have fat fingers but other than that. it fills all my needs for calls, photos, internet, music, games, including whats app and viber --so far so good and at a good price! My wife got a Galaxy S3, and I got the W7. Her phone is very nice; great display that's bright and large; it's thin and light, you can expand the memory with micro sd cards, and it has a changeable battery. The Galaxy S3 is an excellent phone. My W7 is all of the above, with the additional benefits of a huge battery that typically lasts about 18 - 20 hours per charge (and is still changeable), an incredibly fast quad core processor, and an even bigger screen. The phone is large, but I have no problem using it with one hand. However, I must admit that with Dockers, the phone sticks out of my back pocket. Other than that, this is a terrific phone. If it weren't too large for some of my rear pockets, it would be perfect. When I look at my daughter's iPhone 5, I can't believe that anyone wants to use a phone with such a tiny display, non-expandable memory, and a built in battery. I don't think I could go back to any phone with a smaller screen. BTW - the S pen is very cool; I'm learning to use it, and it is a great tool, once you know how to use it. I love having all of the screen space. If you feel you need/want the space and power this phone offers, there's really no contest. The W7 is awesome. (Posted on 3/12/13)

I'm not a big web or text user, but now I'm not hesitant to look up items on the web. The coverage in my area is superb, and NO DROPPED CALLS! I haven't experienced any dropped calls and the clarity is perfect. I actually came across this phone and the service quite by accident. My friend asked me for a recommendation for service and I found Boost. I was so impressed, I ended up ordering this phone and ported my number. The port took all but 20 minutes, and to impress me further, a Boost agent called me to make sure all went well. (Posted on 3/11/13)

I really like this phone...it's very neat. it looks very elegant and the texture on the back cover its very nice. It doesn't have any real buttons other than volume, and power, but I haven't had any problems with it so far. All together it's a great phone if you're looking for a smart phone which is not very expensive, it's very reliable and you can definitely show it off! (Posted on 3/9/13)

This is my first "smart" phone, and I'm absolutely amazed at it, The battery isnt so bad or the best but it last me like 10 hours with light use of course if you on you tube or listening to music or on the web the battety is going to drained faster. i used to have the lg esteem from metro pcs that phone was horrible so with this one im just soooo happy lol it has everything i need not so big and heavy is very light. the camera is decent with flash, and for the people who wants a silent shutter you can dowload from the market this app called angel camera. anyways i recommend this to everyone. I bought this for my son and he loves the phone, it makes me want to buy one for my self. but i just got a new one so i have to wait. its an excellent phone and works great

Setup:
The activation process was extremely simple. From the time I unboxed the phone to making my first call was less than 15 minutes. I did the activation online so I can't make a judgement about the manual setup process.

Initial quality:
This phone looks and feels like other phones I looked at that cost 100-150 more. The quality is very good, it feels comfortable in your hand for extended periods and the 5.7" touchscreen is clear, sharp and accurate. Aesthetically, the phone looks simple but well put together.

Performance:
Having never used the Android OS before, I really didn't know what to expect but within an hour I had the basics down and in a week I was operating the phone to its full capabilities. I had no lockups, no lag, no crashes or stalls. The phone managed to keep pace with everything I threw at it. The phone has Android 4.0 Gingerbread which is considered a very stable build and I can see why. The phone isn't considered one of the fastest phones but it kept pace with my needs. Plus there's a small secret with this phone. Officially the CPU is rated at 800Mhz but after looking at a review on YT and testing my own phone, the CPU actually runs at 1GHz.

Last thoughts.
I transitioned from being an staunch blackberry supporter to an Android user. I expected a lot of pain but it didn't happen. The learning curve to use the phone wasn't steep courtesy of a good operating system and a phone that is stable and quick. I now understand why this is the future of the smartphone and I have absolutely no idea why anyone would even consider a horrendously overpriced and less capable iPhone. I'm glad I did this and there's no doubt the phone's quality and stability has made my choice a permanent one. 5 stars. (Posted on 3/7/13)
